A healthy scalp is the basis for beautiful and strong hair, but for many people this is not a given. Dryness, itching and flakes can be annoying and affect self-confidence. This also applies to Iris Westerveld, an experienced hairdresser and mother who shares her daily life on Instagram under the moniker @lifeofiriss. When she discovered Neofollics' Scalp Therapy line, she decided to try it out and share her experience. She talks about how these products have helped her and why she continues to use them.

"My scalp is quite troublesome. I don't necessarily suffer from dandruff, but it is very dry," Iris explains. As a hairdresser, she knows that there are many products on the market, but finding the right solution remains complicated. "This is quite tricky even for me as a hairdresser, because you also have to deal with hormonal issues."
How did you test the Scalp Therapy products?
To make sure the Scalp Therapy products worked, Iris first decided to try the Scalp Therapy shampoo for six weeks. ‘I did want to experience it before judging it,’ she says. In her hair salon, she has access to all kinds of products that can keep her scalp calm, but they don't really solve the problem. "This shampoo really made an improvement for me."
The Exfoliating Scalp Therapy Shampoo is clinically proven to bring relief due to its high concentration of active ingredients.
The shampoo is suitable for both men and women.

"My scalp problems come and go, but when it gets worse, you can quickly see the flakes on your clothes, especially if you wear black." Thanks to the Scalp Therapy shampoo, Iris has much less of that.
How to use the shampoo and mask?
Iris washes her hair with the shampoo two to three times a week. "Then I brush my hair and apply the nourishing mask. I leave that dry in my hair. The mask has a slight granular texture. That takes some getting used to, but it smells nice. It smells more natural than most shampoos." At quiet times, she combines it with another shampoo she likes. "That's handy if you find it a bit pricey."
The Neofollics Nourishing Mask is a conditioning mask specifically designed to address scalp problems.

When Iris posts about her experience on Instagram, she notices that many people are looking for a solution and have already tried all sorts of things. "People can be sceptical, but they are also curious," she says. In the hair salon, she sees many customers with itching and flakes and recommends the Scalp Therapy line to them. "They were very happy with it and noticed improvement," she says. She was so satisfied that she even gave it as a gift to a colleague at Christmas. 'She was definitely pleased with it too!'
For people with psoriasis or other scalp problems, the threshold for trying something new can be high, but according to Iris, this product really works. Because she is so satisfied with it, she continues to use it and share her experiences. "That way I can keep posting at later times and show that it works for me."
